Mary Price was born in Chapel Hill, NC and was raised in the small town of Bunnlevel, NC. Mary was brought up in a Christian home, and went to church every Sunday where she sang in her church choir. At the age of 4 she began singing and often times mimicking one of her older cousins that was a soloist in the church. Singing and songwriting became a huge part of her life, often as a way of escape. Music is in her blood line, the late Clyde McPhatter is her 2nd cousin, who also married the amazing late Ruth Brown. Growing up, her dad would have karaoke out on the front porch and that really developed passion and skill. At the age of 12 she wrote her first song. Mary began regularly performing at local community events and nursing homes.
Mary Price is the first artist brought to Center Sound through their distribution agreement with Ealy Music Group.
